I ordered black and brown 4’ leads in 1/2 in width. They actually measure a bit less than 3’ from the snap to the end of the handle. I suspect the leather was 4’ before the handle was made. I’m super happy with the length but if you aren’t wanting a super short lead pick a longer option. The leather is very well oiled and the quality is amazing! I imagine these will last a lifetime if cared for properly.
My dog uses this lead as a reward & it’s still holding up. It looks new! It’s tough as can be!
